The growth and geographic dispersal of departmental programs has greatly increased the complexity of the organization and of its administrative tasks. The department has been a campus leader in developing sophisticated computerized systems for developing grant proposal budgets and staffing plans, for monitoring and projecting research expenditures, and for providing status reports and projections for the principal investigators. Audit control systems are in place to assure compliance with state and federal guidelines while at the same time maximizing the quality and extent of research activities.

The Department has 135 staff and professional employees with expertise in computer science, research, programming, biostatistics, and administration, as well as academic and research support. A-Z Directory
