Dr. Xiao received her MA in Molecular Pharmacology from Brown University in 1999 and PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from UC San Francisco in 2004. She was a postdoc in the Center for Bioinformatics and Molecular Biostatistics, and a biostatistican for the UCSF Functional Genomics Core Facilities before joining the faculty in 2007.
