Professor Sir Richard Feachem served as founding Executive Director of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, and Under Secretary General of the United Nations, from 2002-2007, prior to returning to UCSF to found The Global Health Group. He is the former Director of Health, Nutrition and Population at the World Bank and also served for six years as Dean of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He recently served as Executive Director of UCSF Global Health Sciences
