Youth Risk Behavior Survey (YRBS)

Provides vital information on risk behaviors among young people to more effectively target and improve health programs.

Years Available: 1991-Present, every other year.

Inclusion/Exclusion Criteria: Includes youth in grades 9-12.

Methods: Survey conducted every other year to a random national sample of youth, as well as by most states in the nation.

Sampling Design: Self-administered questionarre.

Sample Size: 10,000-17,000

Unit of Observation: Individual
